OpenMusicSchool.com was founded by musician and composer Philip Edelmann in 2006 with the goal of giving everybody access to the joy of playing and composing music.

471 videos, directly available online, aim to teach aspiring musicians how to compose and record their own songs without previous knowledge by using their home computers. Various playing techniques for guitar, bass, piano, or drums are acquired along the way to inspire students to write their first own song.
